Itinerary
Istanbul | Food Culinary & Dinner In Çiçek Pasajı
As you arrive in the enchanting city of Istanbul, a warm reception awaits, followed by a smooth transfer to your hotel nestled in the heart of the old city. There, a thoughtfully prepared welcome package—complete with tour vouchers, a city map, and helpful travel tips—sets the tone for your journey. At 5 PM, you’ll gather with your guide and fellow travelers for a welcome meeting to kick off the adventure.
As evening falls, Istanbul’s culinary spirit comes alive. You’ll meander through lively streets, sampling beloved local flavours—from crisp, oven-fresh lahmacun to the bold, savoury kokoreç and the lemon-kissed midye dolma. Sweet shops tempt with Turkish delights, perfectly paired with rich, aromatic coffee.
The night culminates with dinner at the historic Çiçek Pasajı in Beyoğlu. Once a 19th-century flower arcade, this elegant passage now hums with the energy of cafés and meyhanes, its ornate ironwork and vaulted ceilings echoing a bygone era. With its timeless charm and vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect setting to savour traditional mezes and seafood, and to toast the beginning of your Turkish journey.

Istanbul Old City
Today unfolds with a deep dive into Istanbul’s imperial past and architectural splendour. Your guided tour begins at the majestic Topkapi Palace, once the opulent seat of Ottoman power. After a flavourful lunch at the iconic Sultanahmet Köftecisi, the journey continues to the serene Blue Mosque and the historic Hippodrome, where echoes of ancient chariot races still linger.
Next, step into the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece that bridges centuries of faith and empire. The day concludes with a wander through the Grand Bazaar, a vibrant labyrinth of colours, scents, and treasures—one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world.
For dinner, Galeyan Restaurant is recommended for a refined end to a day steeped in culture and history.

Istanbul | Thrace Wineries & Canakkale
After breakfast, the journey takes you into the scenic Thrace region, a land where ancient winemaking traditions are being beautifully revived. You’ll visit three standout wineries—Barel, Umurbey, and Suvla—for tastings that showcase the region’s rich terroir, paired with a leisurely lunch. Troy & Pergamum | Olive Oil Musem & Kusadasi
After breakfast, the day begins with a journey into legend as you explore the ancient city of Troy. Walk among the remnants of 3,700-year-old walls, peer into the past at the Sacrificial Altars, and see the iconic replica of the Trojan Horse.
From there, continue to Bergama for lunch before ascending to the dramatic heights of Pergamon. Once a powerful centre of the ancient world, its Acropolis reveals the ruins of the Altar of Zeus, a vast Hellenistic theatre, and the famed Great Library. You’ll also explore temples, gymnasiums, and agoras that echo the grandeur of a lost era.

Kusadasi to Hierapolis, Pamukkale
After breakfast, your journey continues to the ancient city of Hierapolis, perched above the healing thermal springs of Pamukkale. As you wander through this Greco-Roman marvel, you’ll encounter the vast necropolis, the once used by Roman elites, and the timeworn stones of Frontinus Street. The theatre, still echoing with the spirit of ancient performances, and the Martyrion of St. Philip offer glimpses into the city’s spiritual and cultural past.
A highlight awaits at Cleopatra’s Pool, where legend meets leisure—immerse yourself in its warm, mineral-rich waters surrounded by submerged marble columns. Pamukkale to Cappadocia | Visiting Konya
Leaving Pamukkale behind, the road winds toward Cappadocia with a cultural stop in Konya, the spiritual heart of Sufism and home of the Whirling Dervishes. Here, you’ll explore the Mevlana Museum, a serene tribute to the 13th-century mystic poet Rumi.
Lunch is a highlight in itself at Lokmahane, where the essence of Konya’s home-style cuisine is lovingly preserved. Cappadocia | Cooking Class
Your day in Cappadocia begins with a magical sunrise as you gently rise above the valleys in a hot air balloon, taking in the dreamlike landscape from the sky. After landing and enjoying breakfast, the adventure continues through the surreal rock formations of Devrent and Pasabagi Valleys, where fairy chimneys stand like natural sculptures shaped by time.
Next, you’ll head to Avanos, a town famed for its pottery traditions. Watch skilled artisans shape clay on kick wheels, preserving a craft passed down through generations. After lunch, explore the Göreme Open Air Museum, home to some of the finest Byzantine cave churches and vivid frescoes carved into stone.
The journey then takes you underground to discover the hidden cities once used as shelters, followed by a visit to Uchisar Castle—the highest point in the region—offering sweeping views of Cappadocia’s otherworldly terrain.
In the late afternoon, step into a warm village kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience. Guided by “Mother Havva” and Chef Tolga, you’ll prepare traditional dishes and pastries using heritage-rich techniques. After breakfast, you’ll head to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaits as you're smoothly transferred to your hotel for a final evening in the city.
As the sun begins to set, step aboard a luxury yacht for a two-hour cruise along the Bosphorus. With the city’s skyline glowing in golden light — an elegant and serene finale to your Turkish journey.

- A gratuity of USD3 per person per day is recommended for the local guide, and USD2 per person per day for the driver
- Tips and portage fees at hotels, rest stops, and washroom facilities
- All meals as indicated in the itinerary include food only.
- For safety reasons, children under the age of six are not permitted to participate in hot air balloon flights in Cappadocia.
- All special requests for hotels are subject to the hotel's final decision. Connexus Travel is not responsible for any guest-initiated cancellations or compensation claims based on unmet requests.
- Most countries require a passport valid for at least six (6) months on the date of return and a valid entry visa. Connexus Travel Limited are not liable for any consequences due to visa or passport issues.
